How long do your candles last?
Our 8oz candle will burn for at least 40 hours. Soy wax has a memory, so burn for at least 1-2 hours (or when you reach an even melt pool that reaches the edges) at a time to keep candle burning evenly and prevent tunneling. Do not burn longer than 4 hours. Stop burning when 1/2in of unmelted wax remains.
Why does my candle look funny?
Our candles are made with 100% soy wax. They may come with frosty white patches or slight discoloration. This can happen due to temperature changes during shipping and is a normal characteristic of soy wax. It in no way affects the burn or the smell of the candle.
Burn within sight. Keep away from flammable objects. Keep away from children and pets. Trim wick to 1/4" before lighting. Keep candle free of any foreign materials, including matches and wick trimmings. Only burn the candle on a level, fire resistent surface. Do not burn candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Stop use when only 1/4" of wax remains.
Every time you burn the candle, trim wick to 1/4" and let it burn until the entire top is covered in a pool of wax to help the candle continue to burn evenly and cleanly.
Why Soy Wax?
We use 100% soy wax in our candles. Most candles today are made with paraffin wax or a paraffin/soy blend. Paraffin is derived from petroleum and produces black soot when burned. It also contains other harmful chemicals and additives to preserve the scent and the look of the candle. Soy wax on the other hand is a natural source that burns cleaner and does not produce any black soot. It is a much more eco-friendly and renewable option.
